I’m New

We understand that visiting a new church for the first time can make you feel a little apprehensive. We hope this page will enable you to walk through our doors with ease. Below is our typical Sunday schedule.  Throughout the week we have a variety of events and programs. Be sure to also check out our calendar, and feel free to contact our church office with any questions that aren’t answered here.

LOCATION & PARKING

We are located at 27W010 Parkway Drive in Winfield, which is on the northeast corner of County Farm Rd and Parkway Drive. There are two buildings on our property; Sunday services as well as our Awana Clubs are held in the larger building.  There is plenty of parking in front of the building and on the sides. An usher will greet you as you enter the building and show you where to go.

SUNDAY SCHEDULE

9:00 am: Bible Classes (for all ages)
10:15 am: Worship Service (Nursery & Children’s Church available)

  • Bible Classes Classes begin at 9 am and are a time to study God’s Word in a relaxed and engaging format. We have classes for infants through adults. Guests are not singled out, and you can contribute as you feel comfortable. Refreshments, coffee, and tea are available at this time.
  • Worship Service At 10:15 am our worship service begins. A typical service starts with the time of music (a combination of contemporary songs and traditional hymns) led by a worship team. Scripture reading and prayer is also incorporated to help us focus and prepare our hearts. A main focus of the service is the sermon, which is an expository-style preaching of God’s Word.
  • Nursery A beautiful, clean, well-staffed nursery is available for children from birth to 3 years old. Parents can rest assured that their children will be well cared for during the service by volunteers who have been background checked and gone through a rigorous application process.
  • Children’s Church Partway through our our 10:15 worship hour, we dismiss all children 4 years old through the 3rd grade to go to a service that is planned just for them. Children hear a Bible lesson and typically make a craft. Children’s Church is taught by adults who really love children and know how to relate to them. Our Faith kids love Children’s Church, and we hope yours will, too!
  • Life groups On the first and third Sunday evenings of each month (Jan-May and Sept-Nov) we meet together from 5:30-7:15 PM to pray, study the Word, and fellowship together.

WHAT TO WEAR

Faith does not have a dress code for its members or guests. On any given Sunday you will find individuals in a wide variety of styles from casual to dressed up. Feel free to dress in something comfortable.

OFFERING

As our guest, we want you to feel no obligation to put anything in our offering box. It is for those who are regular attenders of our church and want to give to the ministry.

COMMUNION

Each month we celebrate the Lord’s Supper. Again, we do not want you to feel obligated to participate in this time, however, all who have trusted Christ as their Savior are welcome to partake. This is a time for believers to remember the cost for our salvation and that our Savior is coming again. Individuals remain in their seats during this time.
